Rowshanak Irani, Ph.D.

R&D Process Optimization Engineer

Rowshanak Irani, Ph.D., is an R&D Process Optimization Engineer at La Luce Cristallina with over eight years of research experience in solar energy and energy storage systems. She earned her Ph.D. in natural sciences from the Technical University of Berlin and has taught physics courses at the university level, along with successfully supervising interns and students. Her research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Nature Communications, Advanced Energy Materials, and ACS Energy Letters. Dr. Irani is highly skilled in independently designing and conducting experiments, with deep expertise in thin-film semiconductor processing techniques such as spray pyrolysis, CVD, PVD, oxidation, and other chemical and physical deposition methods. She is also proficient in advanced thin-film characterization and analysis, including XRD, XRF, XPS, HAXPES, SEM, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Hall-effect measurements, 4-point probe, and TRMC, as well as (photo)electrochemical testing and electronic device characterization.
